حرف HS Alhandasi هو أحد الحروف الطباعية من فئة حروف العناوين، ويعتبر ملائماً للاستخدام في عناوين الكتب المختلفة، والتصاميم الإبداعية، والشعارات الحديثة وذلك عندما يكون هناك حاجة لانطباع بسيط معاصر.

وقد تم بناؤه على قواعد الكوفي الحديث والمبسط، وهو يدعم اللغات العربية والفارسية والأردية.

تم إنشاء هذا الحرف الطباعي (ضمن مجموعة حروف طباعية) في البداية سنة 2007 بالوزن العادي من أجل استخدامات شركة فنية هندسية، بشروط هندسية صارمة، حيث رغبت هذه الشركة أن يكون ذو أبعاد هندسية موحدة ومتساوية في الأبعاد العمودية والأفقية، كما تتشابه جميع حروفها بالشكل البيضاوي، لتعطي الانطباع بأن جميعها من أصل هندسي واحد متماسك.

ثم بعد ذلك تم إنتاج وزنين آخرين منه في عام 2011، وهما: الوزن الخفيف والأسود.

HS Alhandasi is an Arabic display typeface. It is useful for book titles and graphic projects where a contemporary, streamlined look is desired.

The font is based on the simple lines of modern and simplified Kufi calligraphy, that support Arabic, Persian and Urdu.

HS Alhandasi was created in the beginning as regular weight in 2007 for use in technical and engineering company. The company tends to follow the geometrical shape with equal dimensions in both vertical and horizontal storks.

There is also a tendency to make all characters to be similar to oval shape with the impression that they are all geometrical and clear. I followed that with two other weights in 2011, thin and bold.
